HALO On The Streets

HALO On The Streets A recent Associated Press article stated that world hunger is increasing at an alarming rate. Currently, one of every six people on earth is hungry. In the United States, nearly 16 million people go hungry every day. For perspective, that’s the city populations of Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego and Dallas…combined!! Closer to home, area residents are not immune.
Hope and Life Outreach believes that no one should go hungry. So we have implemented HALO On The Street or HOTS with the purpose of demonstrating God’s love by serving meals to individuals or families living on the street. For the homeless on the street, this may be the only meal they have each day. Each meal we serve is hearty, filling and nutritional. Past meals have included soup and sandwiches, meat and vegetables and spaghetti with a salad. HALO On The Streets
